Calling all cars

it's good to know that there are still "youngins" with big engine heads that can't get enough of cars and especially mustangs. i want desprately to get into engines and "do it yourself" projects. but the free time needed to learn and get things done just isn't there, there are too many other things going on. ESPECIALLY in the summer and fall. i'd have to drop other interests to learn what i need to satisfy the "urge" if you know what i mean. plus the cash aint always there either for parts. but i figure since i just turned 21 last month, i still have plenty of years to learn the knowledge that i want to. i'll eventually be able to talk engines with my friends and hopefully earning some extra $$ on the side by doing some work on other people's stangs. then i can pull into starbucks in front of all those rich kids who got their cars from mommy and daddy and say "uh huh, that was all me right there, oh yea; wanna run 'em?" lol. but i can only learn stuff here and there, but it's comin.

that said, i respect the HECK outta guys (and gals

) that do their own work with their own time AND MONEY. i see waaay too many little kids in high school with "farting" imports with window stickers and loudly colored body paint schemes and 18" chrome rims. and i think to myself, "yea ok, i guess that job at Burger King pays $25 an hour for him to have the money himself for that ride." peoples' parents can be such shmuks when it comes for forking out cash for their bratty kids' cars.

to all the do-it-yourselfers (young and old) ROCK ON!! ha
