The problem with probes is that even just a simple oil change suck to do on them. The filter is tiny and hidden halfway up the back of the engine. Not to mention if you have the adjustable sport suspension, it costs like $300 or more per strut because they're a one of a kind strut and now obsolete. In general the cars aren't all that bad though, they're pretty good transportation. If you want something to modify, just save up for a 'stang. I've never liked any modified Probe's i've ever seen (usually look kinda ricey), but to each his own. The important thing is to not rush into buying anything especially if you don't know if you'll like it. You'll almost never get out of a car what you put into it, so it might as well be a car that you like. Good luck, i hope you find something you'll enjoy driving/modifying/running into mailboxes (sorry bad joke) just given ya some sh/t!
