![]() 1992 Ford Mustang 5.0 Manual.
225hp@4200rpm 300lb/ft@3200rpm 0-60 6.0 1/4 14.6@97mph Those are estimated times with a good driver, bone *** stock. As far as fuel economy, I get 19-21cty/27-28hwy. Driving 75mph or so gets you the best fuel economy. That'll be a little under 2000rpms in 5th with the stock 2.73 gears. The 1992 5.0 has a 5 star reliability record. They are solid cars, just don't get one that's been messed with by somebody else. You never know what some idiot could have done to it. The fun part is for just a few hundred you can run 13's. For buying, try www.classifieds2000.com and www.autotrader.com and if you're up to the idea, www.ebaymotors.com Those two sites are pretty awesome. Also check with local dealers, they are usually pretty reasonable. If you buy it from a private party you'll find sometimes the car becomes part of the family and the ask a little more than what they are worth. Check back with us for questions, and we'll get you the answers. Good Luck! |
