I have to feel for some of the Afghans

One thing that is very important to remember is that the people in Afghanistan are so oppressed that ALL news comes out of the Taliban. Their image of us is what the Taliban wants them to see. Maybe our first bombing runs should be with flyers to inform the people as to what is really happening and why.

My biggest fear is that we will just start bombing them even though the people we are after are hiding out among the refugees amassed on the borders of Iran and Pakistan.

My guess, and my hopes, are that special forces units are already on the ground tracking down specific terrorists and once they locate them they will just take them out. We do need to take out the Taliban, also. They know what bin Laden is and they support his cause which is the same as theirs ... to destroy freedom since freedom allows people to live a life outside of the laws of Islam (The twisted view of Islam that they follow, that is. Calling them Muslims is like calling Nazis and the KKK Christians )
