I went to the recruiter today.....

I know exactly what you guys are talking about......I'm sort of torn myself, but I have a wife and we're planning on starting a family shortly. If I wasn't, I'd already be enlisted or down at the recruiters office. I've got 2 friends and 1 cousin that have already been shipped out to the Persian Gulf and Germany. Because of my commitment to my wife and future child, I cannot leave here. If it is necessary in the future, and if I'm called upon by Uncle Sam, I will fight proudly w/ all my heart and might for this country. Military's been in my family, but like todd95 said - women and other "social activites" kind of were more important back in the day. Good luck to all of you who are shipping out and know that we appreciate your service to this country. Our prayers are with you.
