![]() Sounds like you may be bumping the rev limiter. The factory rev limiter will just shut down power, like you turned the key off. If your shifts are not quick enough the rpms will raise until you hit the rev limiter which I believe is 6250 rpm. If this is the case you can try shifting at a little lower rpm and make your shifts quicker.
