PS. Yes thats salt on the bumper...didn't have time to clean it.

you only cut out a small portion for the hollow part on the cobra grill where u see the hollow part that the horse is in. If you cut out extra or make the hole too big, it doesn't matter, because the new grill will overlap it, and you dont even see the cuts. I should have taken pics with the grill off because its hard to explain where u make the cut.
