Okay, this probably isn't what you were looking for, but THE BEST vacation I ever took was white water rafting down the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon. You get all the beer you can drink ( Our first stop on the way to the river was the liquor store and the second was the camping store
 ), the food is awesome, it's some of the coolest scenery you'll ever see in your life, the rapids are fun, and you're completely sheltered from outside events. The trip I went on was for a week.
