I think this theory was broadcast widely over Qatar's Al-Jazeer (sp?) news network. Being as it's the only independant news agency in the middle east, many people put a lot of stock in what's broadcast there. They're also quite pro-Palestinian (refering to Palestinians killed as "martrys". It's a viable theory...but total crap.
