Sky - There is nothing to "get". Do not, I repeat DO NOT bang your head against the wall over this. It just wasnt meant to be, and thats all there is to it. Its nobody fault, not yours, not hers, just accept it and move on. Trust me, its the best way. If you fight it, it only hurts worse. Dont try to understand it, dont analyze it, that will only drive you nuts with no benefit.
She obviously doesnt know what she wants, so she wants to see whats out there. A little advise - Dont ever believe a woman who says "I want to be with you forever".
