I never ever thought it would happen

Sorry, Sky. This brings back memories for me too. There is no lower feeling than losing the one you love. But, people on the board are right. It only gets worse if you try to fight it. My advice to you now is to just stay away from her. Resist all urges to call her and try to work things out. I have never seen that work. If anything, you may just need time apart and things may work out later, but do not try to force them to work now. It just makes it harder....trust me.

I was crushed when I got out of my last serious relationship, but many positives have come out of it. I finally (after almost two years apart) realized I could have never married that girl. And, I have regained my relationships with some of my best friends and learned a lot about myself and relationships. Sure, I want to be with someone again, but I look quickly for warning signs that I didn't used to see and stear clear. Just try to surround yourself with things to do and friends, and time will eventually heal all woulnds....although letting time pass can really suck.

Also, as an added bonus: I bought a motorcycle with the money I would have spent on her
