I like that. some other names could be
Tech Advisor
Senior Member
MSE Certified Mechanic (like ASE, but with mustangworks)
Tech Guru

The only thing that might not correspond, is that some of the members, who might have the number of posts, might not be mechaniclly inclined at all, or actually know very little. By naming them a top mechanic or something of that nature is kind of a play on words. By contrast, we have some very knowladgable members who may only have 60 posts. I think that a 3 echelon system of Junior member, member, and Senior member is more appropriate, or something of that nature. In addition to this, you could designate at your will who would wear the esteemed "tech advisor" or similar title, even if they dont have a million posts. That way all of the members will know about where everybody sits, on the board.
