site needs new tech

the rags could do it but they wont. they dont want to pi$$ off an advertiser by tell you brand X is decisively better than brand Y when Y just gave them thousands for ad space. if you call the manufacturers they will just tell you theirs is the best. i havent been able to access any new tech from the same stuff that was on here when i joined....maybe im not looking in the right place. im almost sure there's a given rule of thumb when selecting a set of heads for a given purpose, like a formula. theres a formula for calculating final drive ratio and a formula for finding static compression...etc...
