![]() Just another point of view,The ticking could be a header gasket at the head & if it's only light smoke at WOT it could be just a little blow by from wear on a engine with a few miles on it but the other replies were a correct method of diagnosis.check the rad or if your adding coolant it's probably the HG.
also check the plugs sometimes one will have residue on it to tell which cyl is leaking & turn the car over with the plugs out.if it's a bad leak,antifreeze may pump out of bad cyl.if your or a friend have a compression tester run a test. A head gasket isn't a bad job if this isn't your daily driver a downtime isn't a issue. BTW how many miles does it have. |
