![]() I have experimented with several. The stock Mercon V, Valvolene Synthetic Mercon V, GM ATF, and finally GM Synchromesh. Without question, GM Synchromesh was the best shifting fluid. Mercon V was 2nd. And GM ATF 3rd. The worst one was Valvolene. Too slippery for the T-45. Watch out for synthetics in your trany for this reason.
