Dino,

Dug out my back issues of MMFF magazine (yeah, I'm sittin' at home on a Friday night!). In the December 1996 issue they test all of the 4.6 bolt-ons on a '96 GT. As I suspected, they got only a 1 horsepower increase with the 70mm throttle body. They say that the stock 65mm unit will be plenty sufficient unless you are going with a supercharger, then you'll need to upgrade. I say don't spend the money.

So, if you can get your hands on a December 1996 issue, you can read their results. Hope that helps.
