![]() Yeah I would agree here, especially if your talking crankshaft HP, shouldn't be any sweat.
The Dyno2000 sim predicts 396 hp @ 6000 rpm and 405 foot pounds of torque at 4500 rpm with an 11:1 compression ratio and a single plane manifold. using a small tube header (around 1-3/4 with a muffler) However if you subsitute 185 cc AFR cylinder heads power jumps to 445 hp @ 6000 rpm and 426 ft/lbs. of torque @ 5000 rpm Using a set of Trickflow Street heads nets; 435 hp @ 6000 rpm and 423 ft/lbs. @ 5000 rpm. Using a set of Holley Systmax heads nets; 418 hp @ 6000 rpm and 415 ft/lbs. of torque at 4500 rpm. Using a set of Trickflow R heads nets; 475 hp @ 6500 rpm and 435 ft/lbs of torque @ 4500 rpm. Howeverhere lies the problem with sim dyno's this assumes there is excellent velocity and fuel mixture despite the size of the heads. so while this might look like the best bet, I would say using the TFS R heads would be like running a BOSS 429 in production trim (read lazy pig) then again who knows ((shrugs)) |
