That is (or similiar) unfortantly common for 96-98 Cobras. The T45 was built just before Borg Warner was bought by Tremac. They were built in Mexico with not the greatest tolerences. If its real bad hopefully you're still warenteed. And yes they transfer if you bought it used, 3 years, 36,000 miles. Jump up and down, shout, and insist they do something about it.
