You have to remove the feul rail completly from the injectors. You may also have to give the rubber sleve a good jerk to pull it lose, don't worry it wont break easily. Another good idea is to have a vac handy and suck the dirt out of the hole when you remove each plug other wise their impossible to get back into the hole cleanly and yes that hole catches a lot of dirt, or at least they did on my car, one last suggustion use the rubber sleve to reinstall the plug it maes it a lot easier and you won't drop them.
