My BBK offroad H-pipe is also a 2-piece unit held together with a clamp. I never had any problems with exhaust leaks. The metal things slide into the rubber hangers but they may need to be trimmed for proper fit. Your car is going to be MUCH louder with the offroad pipe, so be prepared!
