Also remember that to spin higher than 6250 you'll have to somehow disable the factory rev limiter (aftermarket chip or computer...). A rebuild with 11:1 compression and switching to a bigger cam and an RPM upper intake would be what I'd do. You might also consider more gear (like 4.30's) if you plan on racing it more than street driving.
