Power is power, regardless of where it comes from. So sue me if I'd rather spend $600 for nitrous and use the extra $3400 I saved, by not buying a blower, to buy a second car. The excuse "But it's always there when you need it" sucks too. Because by the same motto, it's always there when you don't need it too. Just another part to worry about. How often do you "need" a blower anyway? For the avid street racer or track runner, NOS is just fine in my opinion, and more discreet too.
