I agree w/ Hammer and say put that money toward some gears. At your level of mods it will only basically act as a shift kit, and not a good one at that. It increases line pressure, and while it makes for faster, harder shifts, it puts more wear on your tranny. You'd be better off getting a real one installed. If you can find somebody who will burn you a custom chip it will be better then a off the shelf chip.
I am lucky in the fact that a guy who is member of the TCCoA is an engineer for Roush and has designed a Tbird specific program that he tailors to each vehicle. It's way better then any off the shelf chip, and puts down about 20 rwhp! 10hp comes form a new air/fuel and timing curve using 93+ octane and the other 10hp come from locking up the converter at WOT (better effiency).
