![]() The first thing I always check with idle hunt problems is the TPS voltage. I had an idle problem after installing a 70 mm T/body because, like everyone else, I assumed it was correct and bolted it on. After checking it with my DVOM, I found that the idle voltage was 1.07 which caused the computer to add fuel thinking I was at part throttle causing the idle to hunt. I correct it and the car idles better than stock with the ton of mods I have added at around 720(in park, 600 in gear) rpms. Anyway, don't assume it is right just because it's a new car and check the TPS voltage. If the voltage is correct(between .75 & .99 volts), the IAC solenoid would be my next stop.
