I probably have one the best intercooler set ups you are going to find for a 99-01 GT. I have the Fast Tracks intercooler which is a Spearco 4 core I/C and it's awesome. You do run into a problem with bucking/surging at high speeds and you need a bypass before and after the I/C to correct it. I think they are addressing this problem. Also the boost drop is minumal (at the worse approx 1-1.5 psi across the core). I made 13 psi before with a 10 psi pulley with my Vortech and after the intercooler, I see 12 psi before it shifts. Both will do the job and you do have the advantage of adding ice at the track with the aftercooler. I just don't like the fact of running water lines(possible leaks after time) and having another pump that could fail. The intercooler will never fail. My friend Rich on the corral has the exact same setup as I do without the exhaust mods and made 429 rwhp on the stock longblock after a dynotune at Larroccas Performance. I will be at Laroccas on Friday getting a dynotune also and should go over 400 rwhp through the auto.

+ Many other mods
Dyno 7/15/00 - 358 rwhp/386 rwtq
First Pass 10/15/00 - 12.75 @ 112 mph on ZRs
