Traction is all you need, slap on some Nitto or BFG DR's and you'll knock your times down. No more 2nd gear spinning. On street tires you can shift a little lower into 2nd to keep from spinning but it will hurt your et depending on how low you shift. My best times have come from me shifting 1-2 at 5700 - 5800RPM's, 2-3 and 3-4 at 6000RPM's.
As for launching just leave around 2000 RPM's slipping the clutch. |
