![]() Well I checked into this a few months ago and here's my suggestion. The gain is not very big compared to other mods. If you already have pullies, timing adjuster, offroad H or X, gears, shifter then a new meter may be the next thing to get after this stuff.
I looked at both meters and performance wise they claimed the same gains. Two things swayed me into buying the C&L. One price the C&L was $245 for the kit with filter and shield versus $400 for the Pro-M. Second was how it's calibrated. I plan on going with a blower or at least bigger injectors in the future. The C&L only needs a bigger sampling tube which can be bought for $40 instead of sending the meter to Pro-M to be calibrated for $75 which of course causes down time. As far as actual power gains from the mod I think there may be a good 5-10HP in it. My best times where run in 68* weather with low humidity. Now with the meter installed and 90* weather and high humidity I'm now running as fast as I was before. ------------------ 00 GT, MAC Offroad H, Steeda Pulleys & Timing Adjuster, 4.10’s, Flows w/turndowns, UPR shifter, UPR Pro Series LCA’s, Lakewood 70/30’s & 50/50’s, Weld Pro Stars, Kaenen Cobra R Hood, 253.8 RWHP/292.8RWTQ 12.91@101.93 (1.74 60ft) M/M 100, 7085 Recent Pic from Moroso |
