The air silencer is located in the front-passenger side corner of the engine bay. The silencer is the tube that goes from the air box to the fenderwell. There is some debate on whether this actually does anything for you though....

As far as the timing is concerned.... adjusting it will not be free. You have 2 options:
1. An aftermarket\custom chip
2. A Steeda timing adjuster...
