Thumbs up

I've always put in exactly 6 Qts of synthetic 5W30 in my '98 SOHC and it reads exactly full. The manual says 6, I put in 6, and the dipstick reads full. Sounds fine to me! Of course, I let it drain for about 30-45 minutes, with the passenger side jacked up and the oil filter removed to make sure that as much of the oil comes out as possible. (yes, I'm anal!) Remember that the 6 qt capacity includes whatever oil didn't come out of the block. Once I run the engine, let it sit a while, then recheck it, it shows a little under exactly full, which I figure means the oil is now in the filter.
