Modular engines reactdifferently to h and x pipes than 5.0's.
I tried the BBK off-road H and lost power down low compared to the Bassani X. I now have a gutted Bassani because one of the cats failed but I want to put an X pipe on again with cats. The 4.6 needs torque and the X pipe with cats brings it. My off-road X makes more power than a cat x pipe but I don't like the fumes anymore.. ------------------ formerly 96cobra89lx306 (96Cobra/softtop-3.73,almdrvsht,fancontrl,steeda sbfrmes+shifter,eibachspgs,KYB's,FR-upper arms,Y2K Cobra R's,pulleys,Bassani X pipe(off-road),C&L 80mm,Amsoil etc.. 93 Ford Probe Gt(slower but turns) |
