I don't hear anything over my exhaust but concerning the T-45 I think it's way better than the old T-5's. I went through 3 or 4 of them in my old car like they were nothing and I'm still on the stock T-45 with 60K miles and nearly 500 passes on it, allot of them 6K RPM dumps on slicks. 4th gear is wounded but still hangs in there at the track.
