two weeks ago at the track, there was a '99 and '01 Cobra. The '99 was pulling 14.1's all day w/ a best of 13.9. The '01 was mostly 13.8ish, w/ a best of 13.7. I am sure there is better times in those cars, but it seems the Cobra's are a real drivers car. You have to be able to launch real well (which is so very hard w/ the IRS) and bang the gears like a champ to get a 13.3. MM&FF likes to powershift too, while most people can't even do it.
Personally, I think stock vs stock you would have a tough time w/ a ram air LS1. Heck, last fall there was stock WS6 pulling 13.0's @ 107 w/ only 1000 miles on it and a non ram air T/A running 12.7@111 with only a muffler, bored out TB, shifter, and MAF w/ lid. Thats it. That is some serious MPH. ------------------ 1997 Thunderbird 4.6L: Dynomax cat-back, MN-12 perf. offroad downtubes and Y-pipe w/ Magnaflow resonator, 80mm MAF with cone filter, B&M trans cooler, Inject-Tech chip, MAC U/D pulleys, KVR front brake upgrade, SVO 70mm TB. 15.2 @ 91 w/ just chip and MAF. 14's next time to the track.
