The SN95 axles are 0.75" longer, which won't work with the 17x9" 5.95BS. You could use these wheels with the stock length Ranger axles, but then I think you're stuck with the drums... you could use a bigger drum though...

Another option is the 1998 cobra 17x8", 5.72" BS wheels, which look like the R's. A 255/40 tire would still be alright, and you could use these wheels all around (with the SN95 axles in the rear). They fit better up front too...

[I like the '99 cobra wheels myself, and plan to go that route].
