				 | I have the FMS 'b' springs, which, along with shocks, made the car handle enumerately better than the 11yr old stock setup. The 'b' springs are fairly mild (425/550 front 200/300 rear) progressive springs, the 'c' springs swap the fronts for 660 static rate springs. The springs lowered my 90 convert. about an inch, maybe more, and there is a little bit too much outward cant of the wheels, but I haven't gotten CC plates yet. You only know if you need CC plates after youve done it. ------------------ 90LX AOD Convertable: Lakewood control arms, FMS springs. Best 1/4: 15.277@92.25 (2.27 60') |

				 | Personally, I would get 450-580(in that range) springs. Stock is 430-550, so thats a 10% stiffer spring. GREAT choice for a street car. In fact, I had a set of Eibachs in that spring range. THen moved to 650# linears for more racing, now moving to 880# (400# coilovers). Get some from Eibach, H&R (not recommedning the "B" springs). ------------------ Darius Rudis Roadracer: Home built t-arm/panhard suspension powered by an S-trimmed motor :-) My Mustang Page |
