![]() Any horsepower calculator that uses an E/T and trap speed is never going to be exactly accurate. You wont' ever be able to tell exact peak horsepower without dynoing an engine. The reason is, with a time, distance, and speed you can get average HP used to accelerate a certain car (weight). But your horsepower obviously changes while the RPMs change. Depending on the computer you use, the average HP is accurate. The peak is nothing better than an educated guess. (Because they have no idea what the HP curve of the car is, or shift points, etc.)
