You need the TC rear axles if you want to stick with the stock TC setup/dimensions and don't want to use the SSBC caliper brackets. I believe the SSBC brackets allow the use of Fox axles with the TC brakes, just position the calipers inboard a little to keep the same backspacing as stock Fox. The TC axles are longer due to the ABS ring so the calipers need to set out to compensate for this. The stock TC brackets account for this and position the caliper in the right place. As far as I know the TC 8.8 axle housing has the same dimensions as the Fox but the quad shock mounting holes are a little different. I'm not sure what dimensions the rear is in your car though. Seems like it would be wider, similar to the TC. Hope this rambling helps.
