![]() The GT-40 and Cobra lowers are the same, but don't match up well with the E7 heads on a stock GT. They're designed to match the ports on the GT-40 heads. Considering the labor involved in changing the lower and the timing chain you might as well put the cam in also. I plan on using the Holley lower mentioned in this post, but not with the Holley cam. Since I have 1.7 rockers I might use the Crane 2031 cam. Anyhow I'll keep the forum updated as I go along with this fun hobby!
