![]() For what its worth - I painted the shroud, overflow bottle, washer bottle and master cylinder on my 87 LX using Eastwood underhood black about a year and a half ago and they all still look like the day I did them. I lightly sanded the surface of the parts, cleaned them real good with Pre, which is a paint pre cleaner from Eastwood and then painted.
