Question

Well, dude. 1 quart every 1000mi is not considered excessive for the forged piston 5.0L HO engine. Many people get much less than that, but a month for an average driver is about 1000mi. Something that concerns me is the fact the oil light comes on about 1 1/2 quarts or 2 quarts down, correct?

Anyway, adding a blower will increase the heat and pressure, which in turn has a tendancy to accelerate oil burning. You may be forcing oil back by the PVC valve and it could be burning that way as well.

How many miles on a quart are you getting?
