From the ads I have seen it appears the oil ring location on the probe pistons appears above the wrist pin. It doesn't intersec like some of the others, I certainly don't want any high oil consumption problems especially not on a new motor for the sons first hp ride. I'm getting kind of excited to get under way, with a new crank and H beams and bearings already in hand, I getting ready for pistons, then off to the machine shop, for boring with torque plates and then back to the shop for a mock-up and test fitting, and measurement for the dech height and then out for balancing.
I haven't decided on heads probably a good set of Gt-40 heads with some porting at Mike Chandlers in utha maybe.. Oh man I better settle down..... ![]()
