Chewy, Back in 1976 my first car was a 66 with the six and the 3 speed. This was my first car, In the 10 years that I owned the car I went through 3 new trannies and ended up finding a fully sycro 4 speed. It took a different bell housing and some work on the linkage to make it work.. Maybe it was just me learning how to drive but that 3 speed seemed the weak link...My 15 year old son just picked up a 67 with an aoutomatic and it is bringing back many memories. Tony
