This is the bellhousing you would need:



(That's the T-5 adapter plate on it), however that bellhousing WILL NOT bolt up to your block. Ford changed the casting of the 200 block in '66 to have dual bellhousing patterns, and in '67 started using the same transmissions between the 6 and 8.

To put a V8 3spd behind the '65 and earlier 200 like this:



You need this plate:



It bolts up to the smaller bell and gives the proper spacing and bolt pattern to mount the V8 tranny behind the 200. Other things need to change (like the clutch disk, pilot, t-out, yoke, etc..)

I've seen your postings all over the place (Metro/FordSix/StangNet/Here). Tell me though, did you have your flywheel resurfaced?

Also, what did you replace the pivot bracket with? (Just looking for that 'slap me on the head fix' )
