I have been the the track quite frequently, and I see the LS1's not going fast because of traction.
The fastest LS1 driver last time I was there told me that he couldnt launch over 3000rpm cuz either the tires would spin or the clutch would smoke. he was running 13.1@108 with 2-3 boltons the rest were all in the 13's, mostly mid 13's a couple verts high 13's. Skyler
