Did you check your engine to see if it was a Cleveland or Windsor? Clevelands are pretty common in '69 Stangs, they just aren't original. My fastback had a Cleveland in it when I bought it, but I put my old Windsor in it.
Cleveland quick IDs: 8 valve cover bolts, bolts in fuel pump are at 12 and 6 o'clock Windsor quick IDs: 6 valve cover bolts, bolts in fuel pump are at 9 and 3 o'clock Check it out and let us know for sure dood.....  |
