my favorite one is where that camaro and mustang are about to run, they launch and the driver in the camaro completely sucked, and spun almost all the way around lol, it had balls though, and the 5.0 began to bloweth his doors off.

I'm sorry, but your combo is not good for 374 rwhp unless you have about 15:1 compression or you have a blower.
who mfgs your nitrous kit? is it a dry or wet kit? is your short block stock? Quote:

I do not need a better block to support my combo. And to let you know my nitrous is not hooked up and am not going to use it. It is too big for my wants. I have no idea what set-up it is. I am not a mechanic but am learning. But I do trust what my mechanic tells me and he has no reason to lie. So try not to jump the gun and get all over my case. All I know is that my car has other mods that are not listed and I am not sure what they are. And it is very fast. I will beat a Viper without a problem.

If you run 11's, you'll kick my a$$ by 2-3 seconds in the 1/4 mile. With your mods and 300 N2O, it just seemed odd that you didn't know more about what you have.
374 RWHP is a lot. It takes a bunch of mods to get that normally aspirated. Then to have a 300 shot that you don't even ever use..... well, that stretches my imagination a little. Certainly , I never meant to pick on a new member, but I still have trouble believing it all. Rev ------------------ '66 Coupe, 306, 300 HP, C-4, 13.97 e.t., 100.3 mph 1/4 mi. This is what I do know Rev---After months of research, a fully matched ported induction system will easily raise a stock gt's hp over 400hp at the fly wheel when combined with a high flow exhuast system. Also the computer in the car has to be altered as well. Put it this way my heads alone add over 80 hp. So really it is not so hard to believe.

I'm sorry man, but you're being misinformed. If it's your mechanic telling you this, I am sorry. You can't believe everything you hear. I know he probably has no reason to lie, but sometimes ignorance about something and actinglike you know about it can be bad for business. I'd start looking for second opinions around town. Also the people on these boards telling you about this stuff have a BUNCH of combined years of experience in the matter, compared to your mechanic's (one man) experience.. Moral: listen with one ear.

You guys are probally right. Maybe I was so excited about having this set-up on my car. The car performes so good now. I guess the manufacturers boast about the numbers bending the truth a bit. I want to thank you guys for helping me. I was though not happy with people being smart with me. But I understand if I was so wrong about these matters. I was not present when it was dynoed. I plan on taking the car and watching the test and the printout. I will then post what the results are. Thanks again guys
