I ordered a lakewood scatter shield last week. I am know about to order BBK full length headers. Will there be any clearence problem with f/l headers and the scatter shield? Thanks in advance!

If they're 1-3/4" no problem. If they're 1-5/8" you're screwed.

Question

Are you sure about that. Wouldn't the bigger 1 3/4 be harder to install then the smaller 1 5/8???

I have the 1-5/8" MAC's and had to clearance the Lakewood so that the one balance tube on the passenger side would fit. As far as I know the 1-3/4" also require this

Unless BBK redesigned them since '99 I'm positive. I have the 1-3/4" with the Lakewood & they fit after they sent me a new passenger side header (not sure where they went wronf with the first one, it wouldn't fit at all). Anyway, I called BBK when I was shopping for headers & they told me the 1-3/4" were the only ones that would work. I'd call & make sure before I bought them.
