Home electrical question..
Anyone know how many amps run to your average light switch in a house?

Same as the outlets in the wall. I don't know what those are either though. I grounded myself on a switch that I thought was turned off, but wasn't. Not a pleasant experience.

It depends on what fuse your running at the fuse box. The #, 10, 15, 30 whatever, thats the # or apms going to what it's hooked up to.

Thanks guys. I have to do some work on the house. I frickin hate AC currents. I trust DC current, I feel I know more about DC current. AC current scares the bejesus out of me

Just remember the BLACK wire IS "NOT" the EARTH (GROUND)!! and the WHITE wire is the COMMON.
