Question Question about 93 lightning 351w upper intake

I found one of these at stangparts.com and was wondering if the lower intake will bolt to a Cobra upper intake. Or if I were to buy it would I better off using the GT40 that the engine comes with. The only reason I am asking is because the Lightning GT40 upper has the air inlet going into the right and not the left. What would yall do?

So are you gonna be putting this intake on a 351? If your planning on putting it on a 302 then the lower wont fit, its too wide.

I'm about 95% sure that you can just turn the upper intake to the other side with no problems, and yes the cobra upper will bolt to the 351 GT40 lower but it would be pointless to do, they flow almost exactly the same (GT40 flows a tiny bit little better)
hope this helps

Yea, the upper will work with a 302 the lower however will not. As for finding a lower for it, either a cobra, GT-40 or the GT-40 from the explorers will work. You can just turn the intake around and it will work fine.
