Front End: Repair or Replace

Hello everyone,
I have a 95 Mustang GT. Recently however, I got into an accident that really did some damage. The front end is bent off to the left because I hit the barrier pretty much head on. What I wanted to ask you guys is, "Do you think that the front end is worth repairing or is it better if I just try to find a mustang that has been hit in the back and part the front end out?" The front end of my car is bent off to the left at almost a 45 degree angle. I really love my car and want to keep it. So what do you think? If you think that I should replace the front end, then where would be a good place to find a front end that i could part out. Another issue is money. I am a college student with no money...so I need cheap quality. Thanks for your help.

Man that bites big! Sounds a lot like my car. I had a run in with a ditch and bent the front frame up . The damage to mine sounds not nearly as bad as yours. I ended up paying $2,000 for a new front frame core from a donnor stang. It was lined and welded, this included new hood and front fenders with a paint match. I am in college too, and $$ is tight. I could of just straightened the frame out on a rack, but it would never be the same, and i knew my car had to be strong for the strip and the major power i planned on pulling out of it, so i just sucked it up and did it right. Such a pitty, that was my new heads money

I'm not trying top scare you, just telling you about my similar experience. Check around and find a reputable body shop to take a look at it. I really hope things turn out better for you than they did for me! And welcome to mustangworks. Hope to see you around for a while. Light Em Up!!!

From what you're saying, it sounds like you need major frame (uniboby) work and panel replacement. You'll have to go to a good shop that has frame straightening ability. This type work is never cheap. Just try to find a competent shop and go from there. Best of luck.
