Post Could a poorly adjusted clutch cause this?

When I go to engage first it grinds a little going in. the same goes for the rest of my shifts. This t-5 has just been rebuilt and I put it in a it was doing this right off the bat. I called the guy who did the rebuild and he said "sounds like your cluth needs adjusting" is this true or did he screw me on the rebuild. Thanks for the help
